Joan is a 56 year old small-scale farmer from Uganda. She is married, and has six children, three of whom are married and self sufficient, while the other three are still in school. Her husband is a small-scale farmer, as well.
A year ago, Joan developed a mass in a sensitive area. She feels stressed and uncomfortable due to the location of the mas. Joan sought help from our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare.
On September 5th, surgeons at Karoli Lwanga Hospital, Nyakibale will remove the mass. Now, Joan needs your help to raise $188 to fund this procedure.
Joan says: “I have had this pain for too long. I am stressed about this and I beg you to support my surgery so that I can live better after surgery and resume farming.”
