Meet seven-year-old Christian. He loves playing with his older brother, watching television, and going to school.
Christian developed a swelling in a sensitive area. After his mother took him to a hospital, Christian was diagnosed with a bilateral inguinal hernia (when tissue pushes through a weak spot in the groin muscle) and cryptorchidism (where the testes remain undescended). This leaves Christian in a considerable amount of pain and discomfort.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, has organized for Christian to undergo surgery to treat both medical conditions on May 10. Christian’s family has been able to raise $45 for their son’s surgery, but they need our help to pay the remaining $539.
