Lina is a 23-year-old student from Kampong Cham province in Cambodia. While his five siblings have all left home, Lina continues to live with his parents while he studies to become an electrician. His parents are rice farmers.
In September 2022, Lina was in a motor vehicle accident, and sustained a fractured right leg. Since the accident, he has been unable to walk without crutches, and lives in chronic pain.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On September 7th, Lina will undergo a fracture repair procedure at Kien Khleang National Rehabilitation Centre, which will enable him to regain his ability to walk easily, without pain. Now he needs your help to raise $483 to fund this procedure.
Lina shared: “I hope my leg can be fixed so it is easier for me to go to school and find a job when I am finished.”
