Shwe is a 54-year-old father from Thailand. Shwe resides with his wife and two daughters. Both he and his wife work as farmers while his daughters go to school.
In 2013, Shwe began experiencing occasional back and lower abdominal pain, accompanied by blood in his urine. Following a medical evaluation, he was diagnosed with bilateral kidney stones.
Our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund (BCMF), is requesting $469 to cover the cost of Shwe’s CT scan and care.
Shwe said, “I am very worried that I need to have surgery. It is very stressful, and I feel depressed. When I learned that BCMF would help me to cover my surgery treatment, I felt very happy and relieved. I want to thank all the donors.”
