Raphail is a 52-year-old farmer from Uganda. He and his wife have six children, and they live in a three room semi-permanent house. In his free time, Raphail enjoys listening to the radio.
For the last 3 years, Raphaili has had a swelling on his leg, which has not caused him much pain. However, this changed in the past 8 months. His swelling became more painful and, over time, became worse. He was diagnosed with a Baker’s cyst, or a fluid-filled cyst behind his knee. Doctors recommended surgery, but Raphail is not able to raise the funds needed.
Fortunately, Raphail traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On December 13th, surgeons will remove the cyst. Now, Raphail needs help to raise $137 to fund this procedure.
Raphail says, “I am struggling to walk and even to farm. Please help me undergo surgery.”
