Phanno, who is 38 years old, lives in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with his parents, his wife, and their three children- one son and two daughters. He and his wife sell snacks and juice in their neighborhood, from the front of their home.
About a week ago, Phanno started experiencing pain around his right ear. He also experiences fever, redness around the ear, and poor hearing. When none of his symptoms improved, he visited a local Khmer healer, but the pain has only continued to intensify.
Fortunately, our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), can help. Surgeons have diagnosed Phanno with a preauricular sinus infection. On April 24th, surgeons at Kien Khleang National Rehabilitation Centre will perform an incision and drainage procedure, removing fluid from his ear and clearing up the infection. Now, Phanno needs your help raising $297 to fund his treatment. The money will cover the hospitalization, medications, supplies, and post-operative care.
Phanno said: “I hope I can get better after surgery, and stop the problems I have. I want to be healthy for my family so I can work to support them.”
