Say is a day labourer. He lives with his family parents and sister in Burma. During his free time, Say likes to spend time on his phone, watching the news, and listening to gospel songs and sermons. Since January 2023, Say has been experiencing pain in his groin area, back, and lower abdomen. He cannot sit for long periods of time and feels uncomfortable when he walks due to tenderness in the area. He has been diagnosed with a mass in his groin area. Our medical partner Burma Children Medical Fund (BCMF) is requesting $1,500 to cover the cost of a mass/cyst removal operation, scheduled for June 12th. Say shared, "I feel so fortunate that God has presented me with donors who can support my treatment. I would love to express my gratitude to thank all of you, BCMF and my donors, for your support. If I complete my treatment and recover completely, I will work around the house raising animals and growing vegetables."

Kervens is a 6-month-old baby boy from Haiti. He lives with his mother and father and has two brothers that love him dearly. Kervens has been diagnosed with hydrocephalus, a condition in which excess cerebrospinal fluid accumulates in the brain and increases intracranial pressure. This excess fluid causes the ventricles to widen, putting harmful pressure on the brain's tissues. As a result of his condition, Kervens has been experiencing intracranial swelling. Without treatment, Kervens will experience severe physical and developmental delays. The procedure that Kervens needs that is critical to his treatment will drain the excess fluid from his brain to reduce intracranial pressure. This will greatly improve his quality of life. With proper treatment, Kervens will hopefully develop into a strong, healthy young boy. Fortunately, our medical partner, Project Medishare (PM), has the only site in the country where the procedure is currently available. Doctors at PM were able to schedule the procedure for August 1st at Hospital Bernard Mevs. PM is now requesting $897 to help fund the cost of surgery for Kervens. Kerven's family said that they are heartbroken that their baby is sick. They now have hope that the surgery will give them a happy healthy child.

Sidi is a 56-year-old small-scale farmer from Rukungiri District, in southwestern Uganda. He is a father of six, with four daughters and two sons. Sidi attended school through seventh grade, and now earns a living through farming, specifically from his small-scale banana and coffee plantation. He also has two cows that provide milk for his family. Two years ago, Sidi developed a right inguinal hernia. He experiences swelling that becomes more pronounced when he lifts heavy objects, pain, and discomfort when walking short distances. Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare (AMH), can help. On July 5th, Sidi will undergo hernia repair surgery at AMH's care center. AMH is requesting $230 to fund Sidi's surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently. Sidi says, “I hope when I am treated, and pain is no more, I will be able to resume my work in good health.
